PROJECT REINVENTING GOVERNANCE
The think tank CENTER FOR CHANGE MANAGEMENT (CCM) is implementing the project REINVENTING GOVERNANCE aiming to:
- Redesign the system for planning and monitoring the implementation of policies, with a focus on delivery of results and strengthened coordination between institutions
- Establishing functional mechanisms for data-driven policy making using key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Raising awareness of good governance standards among institutions, civil society organizations, the media and citizens
THE PLATFORM "ODGOVORNA VLADA" (translated: Responsible government) FOR MONITORING THE DELIVERY OF THE GOVERNMENT COMMITMENTS. The platform is created based on commitments listed in the Government work program 2024-2028 (published in July 2024), accessible by clicking the button Government program. The platform shows the specific measurable planned indicators for results presented in 11 different societal areas, which citizens are most interested in according to research by the Center for Change Management. The results are divided among short-term (1 year), mid-term (2-3 years) and until the end of the Government mandate (4 years).
The platform is used for transparent monitoring of the delivery of goals and results planned by the Government for 2024-2028. Delivery for each indicator is presented with “traffic lights” (explanation provided in the specific areas).
The presented Government commitments can easily be compared with the political parties’ promises for the Parliamentary elections 2024, compiled in the documents prepared by the Center for Change Management (button Electoral promises). In accordance with the principle of data-driven policy making, the Center for Change Management also prepared the most relevant data before the elections in each selected area (part of the same document Electoral promises).
